Before embarking on a career in Physical Therapy, Trevor lived in Coventry where he managed a Hydraulic Engineering Company. He worked there for ten years and studied Business Administration at Coventry University. He has been involved in many sports throughout his life including football, rugby, squash, skiing, golf and martial arts. Sports injuries inevitably brought him into contact with Physiotherapists, Osteopaths and Chiropractors and he had always admired the ability of these practitioners and was thankful to them for their attention to his injuries. It was this and his desire to help others that led him to study Physical Therapy. He studied Remedial Massage, Sports Therapy and Manipulative Therapy at the Northern Institute of Physical Therapy and graduated through the London and Counties Society of Physiologists with the Diploma of Honour in Manipulative Therapy. He has also recently achieved registered Physiotherapist status with the Health Professions Council (H.P.C.).

Over the last thirteen years, he has built up a successful practice in Scotland, having clinics in Comrie and Auchterarder in Perthshire and was the Physical Therapist at the Gleneagles Hotel and Country Club. During this time he was appointed Physical Therapist for four major European Golf Championships and in 2000, was the Physical Therapist for the victorious European Solheim Cup Team for their match against the U.S.A., at Loch Lomond. Trevor's hobbies include golf and Aikido, a Japanese martial art. He holds the rank of 3rd Dan and is a registered and accredited coach with the British Aikido Board and the National Coaching Foundation.

It was at a C.P.D., seminar at the Northern Institute where he was first introduced to the Bowen Technique when attending an 'Introduction to Bowen Technique' course with Alastair McLoughlin and Rick Minnery. He was so impressed with the simplicity and results of the technique and by Alastair's presentation and enthusiasm that he decided that he would like to learn this modality. He studied at Colne and subsequently became an advanced Practitioner and more recently an accredited Instructor and the Bowen technique forms a major part of his busy practice in Comrie.

"Bowen Therapy has given me a great deal, it has changed my life, the way that I work and the way that I think. It continues to keep me working in my clinic with great satisfaction and I believe I can use my experience to give something back to Bowen by helping others to learn the techniques and to use them with confidence."
