Learn and train in the Bowen Technique

Ossie and Elaine Rentsch have just confirmed that the dates for their next UK visit will be Sat 25th & Sun 26th August 2012.

They will be teaching the SBP 2 master class in The Gillis Centre, Edinburgh, Scotland.

This is a “power point” based workshop which is suitable for elite athletes and also those who only exercise at the weekends. A 20 page work manual is supplied for backup material.

BOWEN for The IMMOBILE and STROKE CARE – Shepherds Bush, London 18th May

This one day Workshop is Power point based, and a manual is supplied.

1. We look at the different types of Strokes , why they happen, and the challenges we face in treating Immobile people .
2. We create a roadmap of the functions of the brain and allocate suitable Bowen procedures to those sites.
3. Practical sessions are done in threes,and show how to do all Bowen moves in either seated or semi supine positions.
4. We explore exercise programmes, including stimulating games for the mind, to support the Bowenwork. How to deal with negative attitudes as a result of the Stroke.
